I am trying to import or copy a table in SQL Server 2008 Express into Access
2003. I am clicking on Import, "Files of Type" - ODBC, DSN Name (New...),
SQL Server. I then browse to the database name in Program Files\Microsoft
SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Data\filename.mdf. I then finish out the wizard and
I get the error ....
Connection failed:
SQLState:'01000'
SQL Server Error:53
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]ConnectionOpen(Connect()).
Connection failed:
SQLState:'08001'
SQL Server Error:17
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]SQL Server does not exist or
access denied.
Is there an easier way to just copy a SQL Server table into Access. Or am
I just missing something in the steps I am trying above?
