I am unable to import my gmail address book into Entourage. Please help.
I think you have to export from gmail, then import those files into
Entourage. I went the other way, uploading from Entourage to Gmail. Seems it
was in CSV format.

You can copy contacts between Entourage and a Windows-based computer as a
CSV or tab-delimited file. Entourage can import and export files in either
of these formats, as well as files in other formats from many Windows-based
e-mail, spreadsheet, and database applications.
File Import
Click Contacts or messages from a text file, and then click the right arrow.
Click Import contacts from a tab- or comma-delimited text file, and then
click the right arrow. Locate the text file that you want to import, and
then click Import.
The import directions don't mention CSV. It should state:
Click Import contacts from a CSV , tab- or comma-delimited text file.
