importing groups

I successfully imported all emails and addresses from OUtlook Express to
Microsoft Outlook on my new HP Pavilion dv9205 computer. HOwever, I had
several important groups (collections of email addresses) that weren't
imported. The group names were there but there were no email addresses in the
group.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to import groups into Microsoft Outlook
(Vista)?

Outlook Express groups rarely survive an import into Outlook. Was this
group a part of the "Main Identity"'s address book?
