importing html to word via INCLUDETEXT

Hi everybody,
in our firm, some manuals are written in html. We publish them as printed
text by importing the html file via INCLUDETEXT into a Word file and then
printing them to pdf. (We use Word 2003, standard edition).
Obviously, Word converts html-tags into Word styles. In some cases - as
<h>1,<h2>, <p> - the tags are converted well into styles.
In some cases - as <ul><li> - the tags are not converted well, but converted
into Standard styles with additional formatting (standard + ...).
Is there file which lists the mapping of html tags and word styles?
Can I create/edit such a list?

The mapping is not controllable in Word 2003.

In fact, in Word 2003, it does not "map" styles. If you produced the HTML
by saving out of Word 2003, it will "use" the styles that already exist in
the document. They will be embedded as a cascading style sheet at the top
of the file, and you can indeed have your wicked way with that.

But if Word did not produce the HTML in the first place, the styles that
existed are probably lost.

HTML and Word use a different object model for formatting. The two models
do not directly convert. Word produces "Paragraphs" with a "Style"
property. HTML produces "Paragraphs" and "Spans", each of which have
multiple "Attributes" which collectively define the formatting.
