Importing ICAL (ics file) into outlook 2003

I have difficulty importing a simple calendar file from a
mac. The file has been transferred through the net and
was not sent through e-mail. I could open the file with
Wordpad and see the regular structure of ical file.
However, I cannot whatsoever import that into
Outlook2003. I get an error file is corrupted (but the
file is not). Any remedy to that?

We too have been having issues importing iCal files into Outlook 2003.
Other calendar programs import them just fine but Outlook 2003 either claims
the file is corrput or won't do anything with the ICS file. Help!
