Matt
I am having some trouble getting good results bringing artwork created in
Illustrator CS4 into Visio 2010. The method that seems to produce the best
results so far is to copy/paste from Illustrator into Visio using the "Paste
Special... > Picture (Enhanced Metafile)". This seems to retain the paths
fairly well but the gradient fills seem to be converted into raster fills of
some kind, with strange mottled textures when you zoom in. This looks pretty
bad when you import artwork with complex paths and gradients.
Is there a recommended workflow to bring art from Illustrator into Visio? I
have also tried saving as EMF, WMF and SVG and none seem to have the expected
results. The EMF fromat seems to have the same quality as the copy/paste
method. SVG didnt really work at all, and WMF looked much worse than EMF.
I put my test files together into a zip archive and uploaded it to Hotfile,
if anyone wants to take a look at it.

Thanks!
