Importing information from WAB files into Outlook 2003?

S

Steve

The company I work for has a WAB file which we have been using for years now
as our contacts list. We have the file as an icon on our desktop and do not
use it within Outlook Express at all. Recently we have started to use
Exchange as our email server program and since then have thought about using
some of Outlook 2003's features, mainly the contacts list.

To do so we exported the contents of our WAB file to a CSV file and imported
that into Outlook 2003 which worked a treat all except for the email
addresses. In the WAB file we were able to store multiple email addresses
for each contact (under the Name tab) whereas a contact in Outlook 2003 only
has three available. The way we had set up our WAB file was to have an
individual company as a single contact instead of a distribution list. Under
that contact we then have email addresses for individuals within that
particular company. So upon importing into Outlook 2003 we are unable to
import all of the email addresses.

Does anyone have any suggestions to get all of the email address into our
Outlook 2003 Contacts other than create distribution lists for each and every
one of the 700+ contacts in our WAB file?

Thanks in advance.
