When I import a jpeg image (RGB color space), powerpoint changes the colors of the image so that they look washed out- I can correct using slide adjustment slider, but I have to do this for each slide.

Changes the colors relative to what?

In other words, what are you comparing the view in PPT to?

The color shifts on the image imported into Powerpoint compared with the color on my Mac display or on a print of the image.

I could send you and example (a jpeg image and a Powerpoint slide with the image imported) if you wish?

The way things look on printers is a whole different issue. Let's leave that out.

But what program are you using to view the image other than PPT?

See, PPT has no color management capabilities, so it's unlikely that it's doing anything to
change the color you see on screen, but if you're viewing the image in an app that DOES do
color management, it may be changing the way the JPG looks.

Ah, one other possible source of oddities ... ISTR that some apps allow you to create CMYK JPG
images. PPT has never been good at dealing with CMYK images. Stick with RGB.

How do I email the images to you? I am at (e-mail address removed)

We haven't determined that you need to email them to me ... please answer the questions in my other reply.

Thanks.
