Importing labour from CSV / XLS into Project 2007

Hi,

We are looking at an easier method of updating actuals within MS Project.
We currently manually key-in labour days into their respective tasks within
Project.

Can anyone give any direction on uploading labour figures into Project 2007
using a CSV file or something similar? (eg XLS)

If not, can anyone recommend a good place to start digging?

It seems like a Macro using VBA is in order.
The key will be to match appropriate labor costs to specific work packages
in MS Project. Typically labor costs are collected at a higher level than
the detailed line items of MS Project schedules.

So, you will need a way to cross reference your Excel Spreadsheet data to
the Work Package level in MS Project.
