Importing large files from Access to Excel?

I have a table in Access which has 89,999 records which are auto numbered
sequentially. When I try to import this table into Excel the order gets out
of sequence. The first 1000 or so records come in correctly, but then in
sporadic places the numbers get way out of order. For example it jumps from
4000 to 18881 and then jumps even farther up from 18*** to 88888 and then
jumps back down again. Is there a problem with excel. If so is there a work
around?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Tables in Access don't really have an intrinsic order. Try creating a query
that orders the records and import that.
