Since I have split one of our databases I am getting an
error while trying to import an Excel spreadsheet. It
doesn't matter if I run in Access97 or Access2000. The
error is "Numeric field overflow" Error 3349 (the data in
a Btrieve field is too large to represent in your
application). I have made sure that the fields are set to
the correct property type. When I look at the import
error table that is created and check the spreadsheet I am
finding that it is erroring on the characters - and / that
are in the data field. These characters have always been
in the spreadsheet and did not error before I split the
database. Can someone please help me to figure why this
is happening and how I prevent it in the future ? Thanks
