importing objects to MDE file

Is there a way to import an object (Excel worksheet, Word
doc) into a form in an MDE file? The literature says no,
but I thought someone may have a work around.

I am not sure I understand what you want to do.

But, if you want for example a Word document to appear in a control on a
form you can do that only if the form has been designed to do that.

In an MDE file all source code, including what defines the forms and
reports, has been compiled, then the source code has been removed. The
result is that you can not change anything except the tables and queries.
