How do I export my many Notes I have done in Office 2002 ... and import them
into OneNOTE 2003 so I can organize them there.

Unless you have a PocketPC or Windows Mobile Device (and the ActiveSync
software) then your only choice is to manually copy and paste from Outlook.

Erik, thank you for your reply ... your answer is good and bad for me.
Good that I know ... but, bad that there is no easy way to do this.

Is it "just" me? am I the only one that has actually used the Notes in
Office Outlook and now wants to "easily" import them into OneNote 2003?

Did that sound "bitter" ? <grin>

One alternative option that is available is to use the Send to OneNote from
Outlook PowerToy. You can download the PowerToy from
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/HA011408961033.aspx

Whilst it is primarily designed to send emails from Outlook to OneNote it
should also just work for sending Notes from Outlook to OneNote. Once it's
installed just select the notes in Outlook that you want to send to OneNote
and then click the button.
Note that it's important to follow the installation instructions carefully.
You need both the .NET Framework and the Office Outlook ".Net Programmability
Components" installed before installing this PowerToy. Instructions for this
are on the download page.

Also note, that sometimes the behavior of Notes in Outlook when called by
external add-ins like this can be a little odd (throws up weird but mostly
harmless error message). If you hit this problem with your Outlook notes, you
can always uninstall the PowerToy after migrating them over to OneNote.

I hope this helps,
David

David,

Thank your for your work around. It sounds like it would work.
Problem for me is, I just Re-Installed my OS WinXP and All my Programs Clean
recently. It took a lot of time and it is working flawlessly right now
(crossed fingers)
Yes, I have a Disk Image ... but, because my Programs are working so well
for me.
* Except for MS FAX program cannot Read my Outlook Addresses because I moved
the .pst files to my Data Drive D: *

* I am "gun" shy to Install any "questionable" programs to my Main Desktop
Computer. Maybe I will try this on a OLD instalation, Just before I do the
Re-Install of the OS.

Hate to keep nagging on this ... but don't you think Notes in OutLook
should easily Import into OneNote ?
IMHO

No, it's not just you. I have years of Outlook Notes I'd like to import, en
masse, to Outlook. One has to wonder that Microsoft didn't think of this
when designing OneNote and apparently underestimated the enormous number of
users who longefor this kind of data interchangability. As one of the other
discussion group participants has noted, OneNote is "the best thing since
sliced bread." Now that Microsoft knows they have a real hit on their hands,
they should do their utmost to make it as useful as it can be.
