Importing org chart data

I have a complex org chart of various types of entities, that are owned by
multiple entities within my organizational structure. When I set this
information up in excel, it requires that multiple records have similar data.
This is causing an error message that I need unique identification. I can't
figure out if there is a data format for my columns that will allow me to
have multiple "reports to" entities. For example Parent 1 owns Sub1, Sub 2
and Sub3, but Sub 1 also owns a small piece of Sub 3 . . . can Visio
automatically build an org chart of this type, or am I wasting my time?

short answer re: sub3, visio only allows one boss in the chain. shared
reporting has to be done manually.

and you have to used the dashed line connector for the 2nd and following
"reports to". Dashed line connectors don't get reported by the Wizard,
however.
