Importing other access databases -- PLEASE HELP

Someone please help!!! I'm trying to import multiple
external Access databases into one central database.
Does anyone know how to do this? I'm new to Access and
I've been trying to figure this out for days. I'm able
to import one database into another. But I can't import
multiple dbs into one.

Hi Shannon,

I think there's a problem with terminology here. The concept of
importing one Access database into another doesn't make sense. Among the
things one can do are

* import or export _objects_ such as tables, queries, forms and reports
from one database into another (File|Get External Data|Import)

* access data in one database via a linked table in another (File|Get
External Data|Import)

* move data from a table in one database into a table in another
database (create a linked table in the "importing" database, then use an
Append query to copy records from the linked table into the destination
table, and finally delete the linked table).
