As far as I know it can't be done. I just keep Windows running in
Parallels and when I need to review something from my 5 years of
Outlook use I just launch Outlook and do a search. In my 5.5 years use
of Entourage (had to stop using it of late due to serious sync issues)
I just do a search in it. Yes, two environments but I don't find it
problematic.

Diane,

What about Outlook 2003 files to Entourage 2008? Your fix only works with 2001.

I am sorely disappointed in the MacBU for not providing a tool to import PC-created PSTs into Entourage. We have several users who've "seen the iLight" and are moving from PCs to Macs. This move is often hampered by the lack of support for moving new users to a new platform.

First, please keep in mind that these newsgroups are peer-to-peer. There
isn't much we can do. The best way is to send feedback to Microsoft .

When working in Office, you can use the ³Send Feedback² option under the
Help menu in all of the Office applications.

The tool is version specific, but the page listed other options. Did you try
Dave Riches tutorial?

I've used the Mac since 1990 with stints on the PC (actually, I
started out with an IBM PC in 1984). I have never, in all these years
of working with Microsoft, using it personally, deploying it in
Corporate environments etc., been so disappointed in Microsoft and the
MACBU. What you are describing is just one problem of a litany of
problems in ENT08. I never had a problem with anything Microsoft till
Jan 15 2008, the day Office for the Mac 08, was released. But since
that day, its just been well too much. Even reporting what you want to
Microsoft I know gets read but nothing of importance happens.
Something is really wrong with Entourage. And Microsoft is fully aware
of these issues; they're just stumped. Hard to believe as they hire
only the best software engineers. But they are. This year, in my view,
has been a sorry one for the Mac its just the impact of this hasn't
resonated fully in the Mac community. But it is with business users as
opposed to consumers. Too many of us have had to revert to alternate
solutions as there is little way of reviving this whatever that was
DOA.
