Importing PAB into contacts

When Personal Address book is imported into contacts, even after mapping the
E-mail fields, the Email field in Contacts gets filled with "Names" The mail
ID's are not visible on the contacts-views at all. One has to get into the
mail properties to view the E-mail ID.
Any way of doing this to make Email ID's visible in Contacts Views ?
