Importing page of text into Text-box on P-point Slide

When I import a page of text into a
Text-box, the left side of the text is outside the left
side of the Text-box. I cannot edit anything outside the
Text-box. How do I align the page of text over the Text-
box boundaries?

Bruce, I don't know how you are importing the page of text, but I'll bet you
are copying it from Word and then just pasting it into a slide. That will
produce a very wide text box that overflows the slide boundaries.

Instead, try this. Copy the text from Word. In PowerPoint create a manual
textbox FIRST. (It's on the Drawing toolbar.) Using the textbox tool,
actually click and drag the shape of the textbox to be as wide as the
screen. It will get short when you release the mouse, but don't worry about
it. Now, hit Paste. That will place the text inside the textbox you drew and
it will conform to the width you specified.

Let us know if that didn't work for you.
