Importing PDF file into FP 2000

When I try to import a pdf file into FP 2000 it says:

An error occured accessing your Front Page web files. Authors - if authoring against a web server, please contact the webmaster for this server's site. WebMasters - please see the server's system log for more details.

I'm bringing these in (or trying to) from my C: drive. Any ideas? Thank you!

The file size needs to be less than 1 MB.

Thanks for the quick response. They are all under 5000 KB. Is there any way to get around it?

Use a FTP application to upload them to your server. --

I hate to be a pain, but how do I do that? Any specific app you recommend? And After doing so, would I just type in a manual hyperlink to the hyperlink box? Do I get to specify the location when I upload? Thanks!!!

Are you getting a System Exception Error when you import?
- if so, after the error try a Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks and see if the file "shows" up
_ trying to import it to a _hidden folder, try importing it to a normal folder

Note - when closing the FP web/site if you get another prompt to import select no
