Importing PDF files into Visio 2000

Benno

Hello All,
Can anyone tell me how (if possible) I can import a pdf
file into Visio 2000? Someone told me something about
saving the pdf as a tiff file, but I don't seem to have
that option in Adobe. I'm using Adobe Reader 6.0 and
Visio 2000.

Thank you,
Benno

By converting to a raster image format like TIFF you lose the ability
to scale and edit the graphics and text strings in Visio. Likewise for
screenshots or copy-paste from Acrobat.

If you need to do this for a lot of files as part of an ongoing
workflow, you might want to look into our pdf2vector software: it
batch converts PDF to a number of vector formats, including WMF and
EMF - both of which are natively supported by Visio. See URL below.
You're welcome to send me a sample PDF file for testing if interested.
