importing personal address books into Outlook?

I just purchased a new computer with 03 office pro and outlook and I have
been attempting to import by pab in OLE from my old computer for the past 2
days.. I find that MIcrosoft Outlook has to be the least user freindly
system that Microsoft ever developed. Whats worse is that they do not seem
to be making any effort to improve the darn program, to make it user freindly
where one does not take hours to load in a simple pab which I have sent in by
e mail to this outlook and even tryed to imort from a floppy. I cannopt get
anything to work. If I cannot get it working soon I will tell Microsoft
where to put Outlook, and all it querqs and download the
Thunderbird E mail program. For the number of years Micrsoft have had
Outlook running one would expect by now they would have an effortless system
of importing instead of all this frustrated BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your mail etc has to be available in OE on the new sys, then in OE export
mail to OL.
and then in OL import addresses.
So you have to recover your data to OE, on the OL PC first.
PS If you import mail in OL the dates of the mail will be changed to import
date
PPS If you look at OL import options it does say from another app (OE)
