Importing pie chart from Excel

I've created two pie charts -- nothing complicated, very simple. Everytime I
attempt to cut and paste the charts into Publisher, they completely lose
formatting (eg, font size is changed, pie chart design is changed, size is
changed...). Help! What is it that I'm not doing right in order to maintain
the integrity of these charts in Publisher?
