Importing PPT slides into OneNote?

Why can one not select multiple slides in Microsoft PPT and cut n paste them
into OneNote? I can only do it one slide at a time which is VERY annoying
when you have a 30 to 50 page presentation.

In powerpoint you can go to the normal view and see the slides down the left
hand side, but selecting multiple only results in ONE slide actually being
copied into OneNote or Word. Why???

This functionality would be very nice for OneNote if the cut/paste would
integrate properly.

Any way around this in the meantime?

I have tried to Import | Document as Image, but I get an error that I need
to install MS document imaging (already installed - and I re-installed to be
sure). I can import word, etc. docs, but NOT PPT. That is what I really
need.

ON is wonderful for lawschool, but the PPT weakness is a real drawback for me.

Thanks for any help.
