Importing Problem

Using Project 2000 and importing and appending a CSV file contaning text and numbers from a Crystal Report. For the second it is visible everything looks great. Then I get the Dr Watson message and everything closes. I cannot seem to find a helpful error message anywhere. What could be the likely problem(s) and what could be some solutions?
Any help and suggestions appreciated.
