Importing Projects saved from one Project Server to another

We just installed a 2nd instance of Project Server with the goal having 1-
for Production open/active projects and 2 - for closed/archived projects.
Prior to obtaining the 2nd server we saved the closed projects to a file. We
then began to imported the projects to the new server. However the values
for out Enterprise custom codes drive an error indicating the lookup tables
are different because it's form another server. Is there a way to remove
this error with a change in setup or am I stuck with inputting the values?

Can you save the projects to mpp format again, and choose not to save the
enterprise values.

Yes, but wouldn't I still need to re-enter the values, which is what I'm
trying not do.

In that case you'll need to re-create the codes in the new instance.
