Importing .pst file from PowerMac OS 8.6 to W2K

Hi all,

I have tried unsuccessfully to import a very large pst file from my old PowerMac (running Outlook Exchange Server v.8.2.2) to a PC (running Outlook 2000 SR-1 (9.0.0.5414). The first diagnostic message reads "Properties for this information service must be defined prior to use." and the second reads " The file ------ .pst is not a personal folders file." Do I need to update the Outlook version on the Mac before trying this again? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
