Importing .pst file

J

jeff4god

I just purchased the new Mac Book Pro and installed Entourage. I have
my contacts and calendar stuff in outlook 2003. The .pst import
program will not recognize the .pst because it is not from a mac. Does
any one out there know any possible way to import a .pst file from a PC
microsoft outlook 2003 to 2004 entourage? If you do, please respond.
Thank you for your time to read this.

Thry this little program: O2M (Outlook to Mac) at
http://www.littlemachines.com/

I used it last spring when I switched. This looks like a new version,
so maybe it will be easier to use. You'd think Microsoft would make
it easy to move files from Outlook to Entourage, but it's not. Good
luck!

No way to do this directly...I was faced with exactly same scenario as
you....wound up using Mozilla Thunderbird to import the Outlook messages
into it's format, then renamed files to have .MBOX extension, then drag and
dropped them into Entourge. Explicit directions on this have been posted a
couple of days ago on this newsgroup.

Good Luck!

(Now working with my IT guys trying to get Entourage to speak to our
Exchange server)
