Importing .PST problems

When I try to import some archived data stored as a .pst file, I am getting
the error "Properties for this information system must be defined prior to
use." Followed by the error "File access is denied. You do not have the
permission required to access the file C:\ ""location of the file"" ".
Any ideas? Thanks

You need to right click on the file and uncheck the read only box.
