Importing resource calendars

Hello

I am at present using MS Project 98 to represent data in a
Gantt format from a database program via MS Access.

I would like to know if anybody has experiance or
practical advice to offer with respect to the importation
of resource calendars from differant programs.

Is this possible? If so are the any limitations? Am I
just barking up the wrong tree?
