Importing rules/account settings from Outlook 02 to Outlook 02

I have a laptop running WinXP home. Its HD crapped out after 4 years, but I
was able to back up the entire Documents and Settings folder. I have
installed a new HD and got my Outlook 2002 PST file imported from the backup
so I have my email, but I would like to import my rules and account settings
(I had several email accounts worth of user names and passwords). Can I get
that stuff back or do I have to recreate it all?

Thanks for your help.

You should simply have opened the pst within OL, then all would have been
there. Import/Export loses rules & various settings

If I have already imported, how can I undo that so I can open the PST and
have everything be right with the world? :) Do I need to reinstall Outlook?

Uninstalling OL does not impact on data or the OL profile
Assuming your origonal data file is located on the HD, within OL,
File>Open>Personal Folders (data file).....browse to the old data file &
open it
Then copy any new mail/stuff from the set of Personal Folders you first set
up to this origonal data file. Set this data file as the default - I believe
in OL2002, you will have to close OL, and set the default via the mail
applet in the control panel
