Importing Rules Error - Options not set?

I'm trying to import rules from Outlook 2003 to the same version on a
different machine.

First, I exported... simple

Then, I import... everything is fine, they all appear to be fine, i.e. 'If
subject contains Acosta, move to folder Acosta"

When I click OK or Apply, I get an error message that reads:

"Some of your rules do not have all their options set. If you save your
rules, these rules with missing options will be deactivated. Do you want to
save your rules?"

I click ok, and it un-selects all 300 something rules and removes part of
the rule, like instead of the Acosta folder, it says specified folder.

Before trying to import rules, I did import my .pst file (3.75gb) which
includes all the necessary folders to execute these rules.

Is this because I'm only exce4rcising a single fuction of the available
options in each rule? I like these to be very simple, like from Tom Jones,
move to Jones folder. That's all I need and over time, I've established
hundreds of these rules that have made my life easier and more organized.

Any suggestions?

How did you do that?
Before trying to import rules, I did import my .pst file (3.75gb)

as posted on all the Outlook groups daily - do NOT use the import/export
function to move data from one outlook to another....
One of the results of doing this is to corrupt the mail profile.
Try creating a new mail profile, OPENING the old pst file and setting it as
default delivery location.
Then import rules and see if that works.

Unfortunately, rules not only contain the name of the folder to which you
wish to move a message, but they also contain information about the Personal
Folders file or mailbox thay hold those folders. Moreover, exporting and
importing the remainder of your Outlook data probably had deleterious
effects as well which could exacerbate the problem. You are much better off
simply reusing the PST (obviously not possible of you're using an Exchange
server, but then you you wouldn't have had to move anything if you were, so
I assume you were using a PST).

If I were in your shoes, I'd start over with the original PST and perform
the move again.
