I'm trying to import rules from Outlook 2003 to the same version on a
different machine.
First, I exported... simple
Then, I import... everything is fine, they all appear to be fine, i.e. 'If
subject contains Acosta, move to folder Acosta"
When I click OK or Apply, I get an error message that reads:
"Some of your rules do not have all their options set. If you save your
rules, these rules with missing options will be deactivated. Do you want to
save your rules?"
I click ok, and it un-selects all 300 something rules and removes part of
the rule, like instead of the Acosta folder, it says specified folder.
Before trying to import rules, I did import my .pst file (3.75gb) which
includes all the necessary folders to execute these rules.
Is this because I'm only exce4rcising a single fuction of the available
options in each rule? I like these to be very simple, like from Tom Jones,
move to Jones folder. That's all I need and over time, I've established
hundreds of these rules that have made my life easier and more organized.
Any suggestions?
