Importing schedule info from airline websites into Outlook calenda

Once reservations are booked, most airline and hotel websites have a button
similar to "add to outlook". Very rarely does this feature work for me.
Rather, I usually receive the following message:

"Cannot import vCalendar file. Could not complete the operation. One or more
parameter values are not valid".

I am looking for help on how to get around this issue.

Thanks!

The vcal may not be fully compatible with Outlook 2000. That version wasn't
fully compliant with the vcal standards.

The hotel and airline vcals I add to my calendar do work fine.
