importing selected Access 2003 fields into a Word document

In Word 2003 when I use the database toolbar to insert a database, I choose
the table I want. I can query the data no problem, but when I limit the
fields i want to insert, Word brings in all fields regardless!! i do not want
to create a query in Access to do this. I should be able to do it in Word
