Importing stenciles?

I have a question regarding the use of stenciles.
Previously I used Visio 5.0 and liked it very much. Today
I have updated my computer to XP and the Visio 5.0 is no
longer sutible for use with XP. I have access to Visio
2000 standard but can I import the technical stenciles
from my old Visio 5.0 or is the only solution to go out
and buy the Visio 2000 technical? Please help me.

Visio can open any stencil that was created in a previous version. Even back
to Visio 1. Visio 5 does work with Windows XP inspite of the warning
messages.

If you have Visio 5 then you qualify for an upgrade to Visio 2002 (until the
end of the month). After that you will have to buy a full version. When you
do upgrade to Visio 2002, you qualify for a free upgrade to Visio 2003.
