Importing Text into MS Project

Help Help and More Help. Has anyone created a new project from a text file
? I cannot seem to upload the actual data ? I have file where I have all
fields:
Task Name, Duration, Start, Finish, Predecessors, Resource Names separated
by a comma. Then I save the file to look like so:
ACS, 10, 12/01/2007, 12/10/2007, 0, Lakita Ayers.
I used the import wizard (Open---> then answer questions) to step me thru
the process. The results are it all looked like it loaded ok---but no data
showed in the project screen window.

How can i get this file to load thru the import wizard. It loaded but
showed no data. Please help ! thanks

I've benefited from the support of this group and it's my turn to try and
give back

Here's a thought: have you tried creating your project and entering a
handful of tasks (just a few - four or five at most) so that the content is
exactly what you want, and then exporting that as CSV (Save As, choose format
CSV)?

Then open the CSV file using a plain text editor and examine the content.

My bet is that you'll see what's causing your data file to import
incorrectly or incompletely, and you can then change your file's structure
accordingly.
