Importing timesheet data into Project.

I am trying to set up an import for timesheet data. The timesheet data for
each person, has hours worked for multiple tasks. I need to automate the
trasfer of these timesheet hours into Project 2003, but I do not know how (or
where) this data should be transferred to.
Can anyone help?

Hi,

If from the language you are going to use you can put a reference to
Project, what you need are TilmeScaleValue objects

I have been scanning other posts on this discussion board and it seems that
others are having the same problem as me. I was trying to use an import map,
but it seems that this cannot handle timescaled data. One solution, that was
suggested, was to use a VBA script to transfer the data from an excel
spreadsheet.

Are there any other methods?
Are there any examples of code that does this abvailable?

Yes VBA is definitely a good lead.
Have a look in microsoft.public.project.vba, read Jack D.'s post of today

It has a link to his site shere tehre is a code that links timescale data in
Project into Excel.
It could give you some ideas of how to tackle - I hope VB or VBA aren't that
foreign to you?
