Importing Timesheets into Project Server 2007

I am having a problem getting the timesheets to update the tasks on the
project. When trying to import the timesheets no data is available. I know
that the timesheets have been approved but nothing seems to work. Does
anyone have any suggestions?

In the future, please post your Project Server questions in the
microsoft.public.project.server newsgroup, as this newsgroup is dedicated to
the Microsoft Project desktop application only. To answer your question, it
sounds like you are using Project Server 2007. If this is true, then you
need to know the following about the time reporting system in Project Server
2007:

1. You use the My Timesheet page to capture all kinds of working time,
including both project work and non-project work.
2. You use the My Tasks page for to capture time spent on project work
only. Resources CAN import data from the My Timesheet page directly into
the My Tasks page, however.
3. When a resource submits the data on the My Timesheet page, it goes to
the timesheet approver.
4. When a resource submits the data on the My Tasks page, it goes to the
project manager.

There's no way around this. Hope this helps.
