Hello--
To update my Contacts I would like to import data from an
Excel file. However, I only want to update some of the
Contact fields. In particular, the Excel file contains
phone numbers, while the Contacts file contains both phone
numbers and e-mail addresses. (This is a much-simplified
description of the situation.) I would like to update the
phone numbers in the Contacts file, without overwriting
the existing e-mail addresses. However, Outlook does not
seem to provide for such a need. The closest I seem to be
able to get is to create lots of duplicate records, and
then manually copy the new phone numbers over, which for
this number of contacts is unreasonable.
Does anyone have any good ideas for how I can pull off
this sort of merging/synchronizing/importing operation?
Thanks much!
