Importing Visio 2003 into AutoCAD.

Currently looking for a package for engineers to use that can load drawings
directly into AutoCAD, just wondering if there are any common problems when
loading Visio drawings into AutoCAD, do the Visio drawings have layers,
linetypes, dimensions, text with it properties etc which will translate
directly into AutoCAD?

To my knowledge, AutoCAD cannot read Visio drawings. However, you can
export Visio drawings to the AutoCAD DWG format. Most everything in a Visio
drawing can be translated into AutoCAD. I have seen a few issues around
text formatting (which is handled in completely different ways in the
programs) and arrowheads (which Visio does not export properly).
