Importing Visio Diagrams into Web Sites (FrontPage)

A colleague of mine has created a multi-page, internally hyperlinked diagram
I Visio 2002. The links are between shapes on different pages within one
diagram. I have been asked to see if this structure can be imported into a
web site with minimal re-design effort. I know that you can save and import
Visio diagrams in several different graphic formats, but is it possible to
“import†a complete diagrammatic structure into a web site managed with
FrontPage? Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Following your suggestion, I discovered more details in the Visio help text
describing how to save a Visio diagram as a web page (html). I was able to
perform the operation successfully, and all the Visio pages from the diagram
show up as separate html files in the web site. However, I noticed that the
hyperlinks set up in Visio didn’t work when viewing pages in the IE6 browser.
After much testing (and frustration) I discovered the problem was actually a
product limitation. Microsoft says: “While you can insert hyperlinks on
pages in Visio drawings, hyperlinks on pages are not currently supported in
Visio Web pages.†Back to the drawing board!
