Hi,
We are in the investigation stages of using XML for some of our
documentation work. Our Software folks told that we need to save all the
images in .svg format to migrate to XML.
We created equations in Visio and saved it as .svg files.
We tried to import .svg files in to Framemaker 7.2 using the File -> Import
-> File option but we get only empty boxes. When we double click the empty
boxes, the same file opens in Visio.
The equations are created in MS Visio using the Insert -> Object -> MS
Equation 3.0 option. As Visio treats the Equation as an external object, the
equations are not imported in to the Framemaker file. When images were
created using native Visio objects from the stencils, saved as SVG and then
imported in to Framemaker, there were no issues. Can any one provide a
solution for this so that the equation remains as a native object of
Visio/SVG?

Kannan
