Importing Win Mail to Outlook 07

Gus

Im trying to import my mail folders/messages from Window Mail to Outlook. In
Outlook, I choose, File, Import, Import from another file/program, Windows
mail. Outlook finds old mail files (from Outlook express) and imports them
perfectly. Problem is they are not my windows mail files. I dont know where
outlook is looking for the files or how to find the outlook files to delete
them and move the windows mail files to where Outlook is looking. Any ideas?

Thanks Diane. I've tried exporting from Windows mail. I get a MAPI error,
which supposdly means I dont have Outlook installed, which i do. Thoughts?

Don't import, export. In Windows Mail go to file, export.... choose the
Exchange option.

You get this with outlook 2007? It should work (does here.) You do have a
profile configured in outlook?

When you posted in the Windows Mail newsgroup you did say you are trying with a Web
mail. Who is your ISP and exactly which kind of set up do you now have in WM,
Mapi,POP,WEB please specify. Also is Outlook set up with your account info as Diane
has asked you
