Using XP pro and Outlook 2002.
I used to use Outlook Express with Windows Address Book
(which has a .wab file extension).
The Win Adr Book has the ability to create groups which
I've used extensively.
The only way I can figure to import these contacts is to
use a comma separated file. But when I look at the
exported CSV (came from WAB), it does not contain group
information.
Now, perhaps I don't need groups anymore. My main reason
for grouping was that Outlook express can not send to
more than 50 contacts at once and I do a newsletter and
send to about 1000 contacts. So, in OE, I had to create
groups of 50 and send 20 separate emails.
But still seems a shame to lose the group info.
Is there a way to export from WAB and into Outlook 2002
contacts and retain the group info?
