Importing Word files from Windows to Mac - equations don't translate

I have a lot of documents on my PC that have equations generated
through the MS Equation Editor in Word 2003. Is there any way these
can be importewd into Word 2004 for Mac?

They should translate when you open the doc on the Mac, assuming Equation
Editor is installed on the Mac. If Equation Editor is installed and they
don't open properly, MathType will do it. You can try MathType out for 30
days if you want. (at the link in my signature)
