Importing Word

I am currently trialling this software (Infopath 2007) to enable me to send
quotations, questionnaires to customers.

We already have basic documents produced in word, and I am looking utilise
this information.

The problem is that the import option on the new document is not highlighted
!!

Can someone please advise how to overcome this problem?

If you open up InfoPath 2007.
Select to design a form template.
In the list on the left will be import and you can follow the wizard from
there.

This is to replicate your Word or Excel form layout in InfoPath but not to
import data.
You would need to save data as XML or in a database to transfer existing data.

I'm not sure what you're referring to when you say "import option on the new
document", but have you seen this demo?
