Importing XML Tables from a Form

I have a PDF form that sends XML data. The XML is well-formed, and split into
tables. However, when I import the data, the records from each table are not
aware of eachother - there is no reference that keeps a single form's data
together.

How do I link these records together when I import them? Should I look at
modifying the form so it includes some hidden, unique ID?
