Importing Zip-Codes

I'm trying to import a Excel File with Zip-Codes that
begin with 0 (example 09999). Once I import the file
into a new table all the Zip-Codes with O in front of
them go bye bye (example 9999). How do I bring that 0
zero over with the Zip-Codes.

Access uses the first record of the Excel for formatting so
your zip code are coming over numeric. Add a dummy
record(later to be deleted) as the first record containing
the proper formatting( Zip code would be AAAAA). I use
this dummy record for formatting all fields.
