IMproting archive data into calendar

I am trying to get saved archived data back into my calendar. I have an
existing fiel in a back-up hard drive and have used the import/export tool in
outlook's "File menu" without success. What tools should I be using to
recreate lost data in my calendar. (from previous question due to Blackberry
deletion of calendar data)

In what format is the saved data? If it's a PST, open it with
File>Open>Outlook Data File. Then select the Calendar folder in that PST,
change the view to a table view like By Category, select the data you want to
put back in the main calendar, then clict Edit>Copy to Folder, specifying the
default Calendar folder as the destination.
