Improvement of Office 2007 Beta

C

Cristolfo

Hi - I downloaded the Beta version of Office 2007. There was a major problem
however as it made the upgraded version of Outlook impossible to use. I had
to therefore uninstall the whole thing and then my Office 2003 was dificult
to get working too.

I use XP Home, and would very much like to use Office 2007 as I am a writer
using Word all day.

Outlook would not load correctly in the Beta version.

This newsgroup is for OneNote, not Outlook.
Having said that, what was Outlook 2007 doing that makes you say it
didn't load correctly? Did it give you error messages? What happened?

What major problem are you referring to? When I installed Outlook 2007 Beta
2, it did overwrite my 2003 copy. I wasn't too thrilled about this at first.
However, I have absolutely no problems with Outlook 2007 Beta 2. It has been
a joy to use.

Users have reported many issues upgrading to Outlook 2007 from 2003
(btw, only one Outlook version can ever be installed on a computer).
You were lucky and had a problem-free ride.
