Improving Report Performance

I have a report that is about 70 pages long. I am viewing
it on a projector in preview mode. If you start from page
1 and go to 70 it is for the most part fast. However when
you work backwards more than a few pages it takes 30
seconds for each page to load. Is there a way I can speed
this up?

You might consider exporting the report to SnapShot format. You can then
open the SnapShot viewer to view the pages.

One possibility -

If you have page of pages in the footer, remove the Pages part from the footer.
You can still keep the page number.
